We are seeking a passionate and experienced MYP Art Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a creative and engaging learning environment, inspiring students to explore and develop their artistic abilities while adhering to the International Baccalaureate (IB) MYP framework.
The MYP Art Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive visual arts curriculum that promotes inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and artistic expression.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a challenging and engaging MYP Visual Arts curriculum that aligns with IB standards.
- Foster a student-centered learning environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and critical reflection.
- Instruct students in a variety of art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
- Incorporate the IB Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills into art instruction.
- Plan and execute art exhibitions and projects that showcase student work.
- Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
- Collaborate with other MYP teachers to integrate art into interdisciplinary units.
- Maintain a safe and organized art studio.
- Actively participate in school events and contribute to the schools community.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Requirements
Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Graduate of a language or international school is a must
