CIPP

cie_logo_retinaCIPP stands for Cambridge International Primary Program. It is based upon the National Curriculum in England with some modifications to be culturally appropriate in all international schools.

Achievement of the curriculum aims for all young people to become:

  • Successful learners who enjoy learning, make progress & achieve.
  • Confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy & fulfilling lives.
  • Responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society.

Cambridge Primary curriculum frameworks identify a comprehensive set of learning objectives for English, Mathematics and Science for each year of primary education, which:

  • provide a natural progression through the six years of primary education
  • provide a valuable structure that focuses on what children should be able to do at each of the primary stage
  • A well-developed structured curriculum.
  • An extended academic year that allows to sufficiently and effectively complete the entire syllabus.
  • A chance for every student to learn.
  • No teaching for exams.

English Curriculum

The curriculum provides opportunities for pupils to:
Deepen & broaden their knowledge, skills & understanding.
Promote pupils’ progress in speaking & listening, reading & writing.

Mathematics Curriculum

Mathematics equips pupils with a uniquely powerful set of tools. These tools include logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think in abstract ways. Exams include a non-calculator paper, and mental arithmetic.

Science Curriculum

The knowledge, skills and understanding in each programme of study identify the four areas of science that pupils study:
