We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic MYP Physical and Health Education (PE) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a lifelong commitment to physical activity, health, and well-being within the framework of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP).
The MYP PE Teacher will design and deliver a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that promotes physical literacy, healthy lifestyles, and social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a challenging and engaging MYP PE curriculum that aligns with IB standards.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and enjoyment.
- Instruct students in a variety of physical activities, including individual and team sports, fitness training, and movement exploration.
- Integrate health education concepts into the PE curriculum, focusing on nutrition, mental health, and personal well-being.
- Incorporate the IB Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills into PE instruction.
- Plan and execute physical activity assessments and fitness testing.
- Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
- Collaborate with other MYP teachers to integrate PE into interdisciplinary units.
- Maintain a safe and organized PE environment.
- Actively participate in school sports programs and events.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
- Ensure all activities are in line with the schools safegaurding policies.

- Graduate of a language or international school

Experience

- Coaching experience for the age group of 12-16 years old children
- Experience coaching school sports is a plus.
- Experience in an international school environment is a plus.
- Experience in the IB system is a plus
