When: Next academic year 2025/26

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mathematics, a passion for fostering student growth, and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences for students in grades 6-8.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Implementation: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards and school curriculum, covering topics including but not limited to:
  • Number systems and operations
  • Algebraic expressions and equations
  • Geometry and measurement
  • Data analysis and probability
• Instructional Delivery: Employ diverse instructional strategies to cater to various learning styles and promote active student participation.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents. 
• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters respect, collaboration, and academic excellence.
• Student Support: Identify and address individual student needs, providing differentiated instruction and support to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance pedagogical skills and content knowledge.
• Technology Integration: Integrate technology effectively into instruction to enhance student learning and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Teaching certification is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of middle school mathematics curriculum and instructional best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
