The International British School

Open since 2009 – 2010 according to the protocol signed between the British Council and the Ministry of Education.

 

School Objectives

Al-Hoda Schools’ objective is to maintain high standards of learning and to help each child reach his/her greatest potential. We provide an interdisciplinary curriculum and classroom activities that allow the child to make meaningful connections across subject areas using an inquiry approach of investigation. Our students shall:

Portfolio/Accreditations

Al-Hoda International School is a registered UK Examination boards CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) Center. We work closely with the British Council in Egypt for our curricula and books.
We are authorized by the University of Cambridge to offer the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and by the Egyptian Ministry of Education to offer the National Certificate for Arabic, Religion and Social Studies.

(Al Hoda International School ) is a candidate school* for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program and pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality program of international education that share a powerful vision.

Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate can offer any of its four academic program:

The Primary Years Program (PYP), the Middle Years Program(MYP), the Diploma Program or the IB Career-related Certificate (IBCC).

Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
