Role Overview
We are seeking a MYP Science Teaching Assistant to support the Science department. This role serves as a development pathway toward becoming an MYP Science teacher in the following academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers during lessons and practical/lab activities
- Work with small groups or individual students to support understanding of scientific concepts
- Assist with assessment correction under teacher guidance
- Support preparation and setup of lab materials and experiments
- Update and manage content on the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Maintain academic records and paperwork
- Prepare teaching resources and support classroom organization
- Engage in learning the IB MYP framework and attend training sessions
Requirements
- BsC in Medicine, Science, Engineering or a related field (required)
- Fluent in English (required)
- Strong subject knowledge and analytical skills
- Organized, responsible, and willing to learn
Experience
- Teaching or lab experience is a plus, not required
